Choe Khor Sum Ling Teachers
Senior monks from Sera Je Monastery and other monasteries from around the world regularly come to Choe Khor Sum Ling to give teachings and lead meditation and discussion groups. Some of these monks are established senior teachers while others are currently following the extensive Geshe studies program (equivalent to Ph D in Buddhist studies).
The Geshe Study Program usually takes 20 years till completion and covers every aspect of the Buddhist doctrine in the Tibetan tradition, through a daily routine that includes meditation, debates, lectures, memorization and performing of pujas. Some of the monks are from Western countries. All talks at the Center are conducted in English or an English translation is available. >>>more
